Salpakan
Privacy Policy
Effective August 6, 2026. This policy explains how Salpakan, provided by Ernie Demaluan Jr. (“we”), handles information when you use the app.
Information we process
- Anonymous player identifier. Online play creates an anonymous Supabase session. There is no visible account registration or password.
- Commander name. We store the screen name you choose for online matches.
- Online gameplay content. We process matchmaking requests, private room codes, deployments, moves, clocks, match status and results, rating, and online win/loss records to operate multiplayer play.
- On-device information. Preferences, saved offline games, computer-play ratings, records, and streaks stay locally on your device.
- Nearby play. Your device's peer name is visible to players discovering you on the same local network. We do not send that name to our online service.
How we use information
We use this information only for app functionality: anonymous multiplayer authentication, opponent pairing, match synchronization, ratings and records, game integrity, support, and security.
Service provider and sharing
Online multiplayer data is hosted with Supabase in the project's Singapore region. Supabase processes data on our behalf for authentication, database, realtime, and public support-page services. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across apps or websites.
Retention and deletion
Online profiles and match records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate multiplayer features, preserve ratings and game integrity, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Deleting the app removes local data from that device. To request deletion of online data, email us; we may ask for information needed to locate the anonymous record.
Children
Salpakan is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information can contact us to request deletion.
Security and changes
We use access controls and participant-authorized server operations designed to protect online match data. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We may update this policy as the app changes and will post the new effective date here.
